1. How can you prevent someone from using a fake fingerprint to open the door?
Answer: Chinese-made models all have built-in "liveness detection" features that can detect biometrics like finger temperature and skin capacitance. Ordinary silicone fingerprint masks are difficult to fool. For high-security scenarios, you can choose a model with "multimodal verification" to further enhance your protection by providing dual verification using "fingerprint + other methods."
2. Is fingerprint data stored on the device safe?
The answer: It's very safe. Chinese-made devices adhere to privacy protection standards and store fingerprint feature points rather than the full fingerprint image. This data cannot be restored to the original fingerprint, thus protecting privacy. Furthermore, the data is encrypted, making it impossible to easily read the fingerprint information even if the device is disassembled, eliminating the risk of data leakage.
3. How should I store an access control machine when it's not in use for an extended period?
Answer: First, disconnect the power cord, cover it with a clean plastic bag or dust cover, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Before storing, it's best to export all data and clear administrator permissions. Before using it again, check the wiring for integrity. After powering it on and testing it, re-enroll your fingerprints.
